It's very hard to find a decent Trap game on the wiki. Most of them just consist of flying spikes crushing into your face with the speed of light or fake blocks which make you fall into the Nirvana. But Metamorphosis is bringing the Trap Meta on a whole new level.
It's rare that you see the same trap twice, everything feels really unique and looks pretty polished. Music is great but sadly restarts in 2 areas (iirc). Bosses are mostly fun with 1 or 2 expections (yea Im looking at you fucking Lakitu).
If you don't mind getting Soul-read every third save, you want a decent (and super fun!) challenge, you found the right game. 10/10 would recommend!

Boring platforming, some enjoyable bosses. The platforming is filled with traps, most of them being predictable and generic (There are some good traps near the end, though). There are also plenty of gimmicks used in very annoying ways, sometimes not giving you a single clue about what are you supposed to do. The level design itself is also uninteresting for the most part (I enjoyed some very few saves. Very few).
The bosses...I liked some, and didn't think anything specific of the other ones. None of them is really bad. And the last boss is quite cool.
There's just too much annoying platforming, and the bosses aren't really worth it. Wouldn't recommend.
