One of the most visually pleasing fangames I've played, Catharsis offers a variety of unique platforming and top tier spike art. Catharsis contains few "gimmicks" and it uses them sparingly, rarely have I played a game with gravity reversing saves I actually enjoyed. The easy difficulty is a good way to be introduced to the needle genre and the normal difficulty is a great challenge that nevers feels oppressive. Overall an A+ needle game.

A very artistic looking needle game that stands out from all other needle games. The art style and the music really give the game a dark and unique atmosphere you won't find in any other fangame. The level designs are interesting and make the player feel like they are platforming through works of art. It's not an easy game but worth playing. There is an easier difficulty level that makes the platforming easier in case you aren't quite up for the default skill level.

One of my all time favourite fangames out there, this game has its own unique atmosphere going on that you wont find often in fangames.
Theres also plenty of content so be prepared for a long ride if you decide to pick it up, especially if you are planning to visit hard mode later on.

80% of the screens are really fun, but I can't stand the reverse gravity gimmick. Overall there is a wide range of platforming designs along with some interesting gimmicks.
