Despite being unfinished, the game has more content that many finished games. Massive production value, great stages, and creative secrets that all spoof old 8bit NES games make this game a "must play" for anyone who likes fangames. There's a good difficulty curve here and the bosses are pretty well done. A fun game for players of all levels.

Another game with a painful platforming, but this time, the bosses live up to the difficulty. The only bad thing about the game is that some of the gimmicks are a bit too...Weird, and you'll have to figure out what do you have to do on your own.

An unfinished adventure game, I wanna be the 8bit is truly a fine-crafted fangame that aligns itself with older games of the 8bit era. With creative platforming, interesting bosses, and unique gimmicks, 8bit is a game that caters to all skill levels. The visuals and music complement the game wonderfully.
I would recommend this game to anyone who has not played it yet. It is most definitely worth your time.
