Nice needle game. It's quite innovative, because of the forced zoom gimmick, and the platforming addapts to this gimmick, making even a small maze at a certain screen, and the visuals allowed me to look at the game (Had it been another tileset or another background, I doubt I would be able to). The saves are well-placed, as well. I had a fair share of fun with this one.
That said, the zoom still nearly got me blind. The gimmick is good in theory, and when applied it can be good to a certain extent. However, it turns the game into a memory game with needles. Many times, you can't plan ahead because you don't know what is ahead of you, and because of that, you have to die, die and die again to learn the spike placement. Also, the zoom makes everything harder. Because the game looks so weird, you'll end up jumping weirdly and dying at easy jumps for no reason at all.
The game is good, but the zoom hurts the sight. For the sake of your eyesight, I wouldn't recommend it.
