As far as spike games go, this game fits right into the mold. While it rarely dares to go outside of the norm, it does what it does as well as you can expect. This game is very straightforward in terms of spike jumps and newcomers will be able to know what to do with ease, while performing said jumps may prove challenging. While I feel this game doesn't dare to do the unexpected, it does the expected incredibly well, often making incredible use of the entire screen in great ways. The path for each screen winds incredibly well, seeming complicated to the eye, but natural as a player. Those who enjoy the idea of spike jumping games or want an introduction before attempting any hardcore needle games will find this game fantastic. Those who expect it bring something new to the table will be disappointed.

A nice 50 Floor needle game. As the name implies, the game follows the same format as the Crimson needle series where the rooms use sprites from other popular games, but the level designs are original. The game has good music and the level designs are good for a needle game since it doesn't use generic jumps. This game is not easy, but most of the segments are pretty fair even if a few are long. Highly recommended for any needle fan.

One of the hardest 100 floor games I have played with some great platforming and nice routes. The last ten floors really demands concentration. The bosses could have been more interesting though

Fairly good fangame. Focused on traps (Not the best ones you'll ever see, but some are still creative), it brings out long segments of nothing more than traps, traps, traps, traps, and one or two difficult jumps, and more traps. The bosses are a bit on the meh side (The only somewhat interesting one is the last one), but it's still fun, and quite well-made.

Here we go. Ario...Damn it, Ario...
So, this is a needle game that Ario wanted to look very hard, while not being really that hard. But it didn't work at all. While the difficulty curve in this game is way too unbalanced, some of the harder saves are simply way too hard (Some of them being actually among the ones that looked easy).
That aside, it's really cool. It has 2 screens and the visuals are quite good at both of them. The part of "looking hard" was well-done for the most part, as well (Failed at a few saves, but...). Would recommend, if you don't mind the tight jumps.

I opened this game not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised! It's full of pretty standard Guy platforming, and it sprinkled with trolls (which, in my opinion, don't add much to the game - but there's not enough to really make you want to throw it away). The readme mentions there's no secrets and it's not very hard, both which I can agree with. I'd certainly recommend this game!
Note of warning: the game crashes on Windows 8 at the second boss, so make sure you get the patch if you need it (check the forums)

A 50 floor game with a few different gimmicks here and there. I can't say I liked most of them, the needle design is good though and it doesn't have any music so i can play my own, I prefer in-game music but I guess it's better than guy rock.

There are a few reasons why this game gets such a low rating. First, the simple concept of the game. It's a game supposed to be played in a 1x1 screen. What the...? Luckily, you can stretch it to play in a low resolution.
Second, the speed+ gimmick. It's fun to have a character that moves really fast...Or not. Sometimes, the platforming gets far harder than it should be just because your character is too fast.
And third, the last attack from the last boss. Seriously, that takes the word 'patience' to a whole new level. You have to wait for the attack to open a wide gap so that you can have a clear chance to shot the boss' eyes...And you have to do it 4 times. Really?
I actually liked some of the platforming, but overall, the way this game is executed is just bad. Wouldn't recommend.
