Despite the GameMaker watermark, this is a pretty well-made avoidance fight with a few nifty visual effects. It's also really simple, although it may take a few tries to get the pattern down, and the RNG can be a nuisance on occasion. A good beginner's avoidance, alongside the creator's other avoidance: Make Snow Magic.

Easy-ish fangame. A bit longer than I expected. Good music, nice visuals, I don't really have anything to complain about this game, given that it's supposed to be easy, but most won't really enjoy it, so I wouldn't recommend.

"This game is designed for newer players, and should be considered very easy/easy. [...] This is more meant to be a nice break in the [...] fangame wiki". TJ, 2014, ReadMe file.
Maybe playing this right after playing Tower makes this rating a bit biased, but since this game is indeed meant to be a break, I believe this is the best way to rate this game.
First off, the platforming is indeed nicely made. The game never gets too hard, although the moving obstacles can still be a hindrance at some specific screens. The musics are good and calming, and the visuals are cool. Most of the stages are fun (Most. Ice stages tend to be annoying, and the one in this game is no exception). The last stage brings a couple needle jumps, but nothing harder than a diamond. It's indeed a nice break for people who are tired of going through so many hellish fangames. Would recommend.

*Sigh*
I was expecting something easier, but...So be it.
This is a cool and short fangame, with plenty of ups and downs. I'll alternate between them. To start with, the visuals are great. It's always a surprise to see a good-looking fangame on the list of the forgotten ones. However, some stuff feel out of place. Like in stage 2, where the visual of the moving platforms simply doesn't fit on the stage theme, not even slightly.
I always like tutorial stages, they're always good for newcomers. However, this one was more than rushed. It starts teaching people about spikes and how to save the game, and then it suddenly throws at you some vine climbing and water without even bothering to explain how do they work? Not to mention that the intro stage already gives enough of a needle vibe to make it not look like a tutorial stage anymore (It's not particularly hard, but try imagining you as a beginner, who just learnt about double jumps and still have to get through your first gate jump, trying to do these jumps). Which brings us to the next point: The difficulty curve is nice overall, but it sharpens far too suddenly, to huge extents. Imagine that you're playing I wanna Get Rekt, at the end of Stage 1, and suddenly Sonic (From Boshy) appears. It's something like that.
The gimmicks are great, I liked them. The lantern is good and original, and making it possible to point it in multiple directions was a great move. The time attack is more common, but the game still manages to give some personality to Stage 2, enough to make it unique. However, about the stages themselves...At Stage 1, there is one huge screen where everything is smaller. Not only it makes the game lag a lot, but also forces some people to glue their eyes on the screen to see something small on a dark place. Stage 2 isn't as cruel gimmick-wise, but I won't even get started on the unreasonable difficulty of some screens (Vine-climbing of 9 seconds, the jump-switching-spikes and stuff like that), after all I already mentioned the difficulty curve before.
The bosses are good, well-made, have a good music that doesn't restart and the first one is even within the reasonable line. The second one, well...It's a bit - Just a bit - unreasonable. Not only the whole fight is very chokeable, but the boss teleports you to a random needle screen every time you manage to damage him. And he takes 5 hits to die. And the needle screens need to be beaten within a short time limit, not allowing any mistakes. And more chokes. And the shooting part requires some learning. And [...]. This boss basically took me twice longer than everything else in the game together, and I'm not even exaggerating.
Unfairness aside, it's still worth checking. Would recommend.

For: I wanna be the Green Needle
A nice needle game that's a good challenge for players of a middle skill level. The green theme is pretty great, and the single song in the game is upbeat and nice listening when grinding out some of the harder saves.
The game is not very long, less than 10 screens. Each screen consists of 3 or 4 saves, and most saves have 1 or 2 jumps that end up being the sticking point. The platforming design is pretty basic, but well-done. It makes good use of spikes, and pretty much spikes alone; very few of the jumps involve challenging block placements, and most of the saves take place in straight corridors with strictly spikes inside, which was a format I didn't mind at all.
This one was pretty fun all the way through. I think this game is a great choice for people who have good experience with easier fangames, and are looking to get into more challenging needle for the first time.

My rating is on beating both needle and boss paths.
This game is amazing.Everything about is perfect the visuals, music, needle, bosses, storyline euhh.
This game is probobly the closest to an amazing game that deserves 10/10 but the storyline and some of the bosses can be unfair because of too many bullets on screen and beaing impossible or really hard to doghe, but overall amazing game.

For: I wanna be GENKI with you
GENKI is a longer fangame with a very striking style, accompanied by average platforming with a lot of gimmicks and light puzzle elements. Every stage has a different appearance, and consists of a platforming section followed by a boss.
Where this game excels is aesthetics, with tons of pleasant and original animated sprites that fill the levels with motion and make them feel alive. Most of the tile-sets look great too, and in some of the levels, the feeling of atmosphere is hard to match. The style is quirky, a little bit messy, but very enjoyable. The whole game carries a slightly eerie vibe. The music choices are usually a nice touch, but kind of forgettable.
The levels and gimmicks are sometimes puzzle-oriented, but the puzzle elements are pretty shallow, and never take the focus. The platforming is unique with its heavy use of gimmicks, but is definitely lacking something, and usually a little vague. I was bored at times, although thankfully it never became a chore to play through thanks to the plentiful gimmicks and the great visuals.
The bosses are also unique, and more inventive than the platforming. They're all on the easy side, but I had fun with them. Some make you damage them in ways other than shooting directly at them, and they'll throw some interesting stuff at you.
Overall it's a good game, but not a great game. Although a little boring at times, it's definitely still worth your time for being a great looking game and unique, if not successful, in almost every aspect. I think less experienced players would especially enjoy this game.

For: I wanna stop the MELTDOWN
Let me preface this review with saying I enjoyed this game, and I enjoyed it quite a lot at that. All of the visuals were made from scratch in Adobe Illustrator, and even though I am quite biased towards vector graphics, they look amazing. Music selection was quite good as well. The needle was somewhat difficult without being frustrating, something that you cannot achieve easily. In addition, the game features a handy align button which shows any aligns you would need: perfect for those who do not know about aligns or those who do not want to be bothered.
However, the reason why this game is not rated a nine or ten by me is the bosses. You can skip all of them except the final boss (which I did enjoy quite a bit), but all of the stage bosses are filled with RNG, and I could not bother to finish them. Even though you can skip them, looking at the big picture, I believe that my rating is justified.
