Although I thought this game was fun gameplay-wise, I can see a lot of people closing this game based off of the fact that the visuals are pure aids; a black, blue, and white background contrasts very poorly with a flashing blue tileset, and there are many times in this game where I couldn't see any of the save I was on (on one occasion I skipped a save because I couldn't see the save point).

How to ruin a screen from Needle Tower: Keep buffing it with corners until you make a K3 screen.
And for some reason, I think that the original Needle Tower's visuals are more fitting for this screen than these ones. The difficulty curve is really bad, too.
I would say that playing through GR to reach the original Needle Tower is a better option than this. Wouldn't recommend.

Cool game. Some parts suck (like the part with the vines that aren't attached to walls), but it was enjoyable overall, especially the bosses.

Very, very fun needle game with a superb visual style, coupled with middling difficulty platforming and fairly simple bosses. After you clear the game, there's a hub world with each individual level in the game for you to play.
I highly recommend this to any player for fun, and to any novice or intermediate players looking to improve their needle skills.

A great fangame with good production and great traps. It's pretty short which sucks because you will not want it to end.

Nice little game. Loses a few points because there are plenty of generic traps (There are some good traps here and there, but there are just way too many generic ones) and because the boss at the end doesn't make any sense (You're gathering feathers, but the last item you need is the head of a fire bird. Wut?). And loses more points because of some saves (The teleporting blocks at the ice stage are worth mentioning. Get bad RNG and you're simply doomed) that seem to not have been well-planned.
That aside, there are some good parts, with good gimmicks (The first part of the last stage is my favorite), and the boss is fun.
Some stuff can be quite a bit challenging, and some parts can be very annoying, but the game is doable overall. Would recommend.

The main gimmick is an incredibly terrible screen shaking effect. That's really all you need to know. Not worth it.

A short but sweet adventure game with excellent production value. Has all the normal fangame cliches you'd expect, but they're all executed so flawlessly that I didn't even mind. On-point sprite choice, level design, bosses, and sound effects make it a fun ride from start to finish. Might give newer players some trouble, but absolutely worth it for everyone.
