Most of the gameplay was fun and interesting, but there was multiple instances of level design that I just found obnoxious. The last area was somewhat infuriating if you don't know what you are doing.

It's hard to distinguish the water in this game, since it blends in with the background, because that's a great idea. The creator of this game managed to make stupidly long segments after easy platforming. The other game that comes in the folder is just the same game but you're faster and have low grav., what's the point of that?

The production value may be very low (the classic IWBTG tilesets are predominantly used, for instance), but this game makes up for it by being a genuinely fun yet hard game. The level design is almost consistently good (there are a couple of saves that I'm not a fan of) and the music used is very distinct and fitting for each area. The two bosses that the game contains are also pretty fun, especially the last one. Even the restarting music isn't that much of a problem here. I highly recommend this fangame to anyone skilled enough to play it. And if you don't like the restarting music or the old tilesets (why?), there's a mod made by Pieceofcheese which eliminates those issues.

Really good needle/avoidance game. Not a fan of the level design of stage 2 and 4 (that's subjective, though) and I really dislike the second boss. Not much to say except that the last 2 bosses are very visually appealing and extremely fun, pretty much some of my favorite avoidances so far.

This game started out good, and I liked it a lot. The first stage is pretty easy for the most part, with nothing too challenging aside from traps. The first boss isn't that difficult either, however when it gets down to a certain amount of HP (either 10 or 8 if I remember correctly) the screen will turn black for a second, and your controls will be inverted for the rest of the fight. The second stage has some more traps, but again nothing too difficult. The second boss is incredibly easy, nothing really to write about. Stage 3 and the third boss basically ruin the game though with cheap gimmicks, shitty RNG attacks, and overall bad design.

If you are a fraud like me who just can't beat Crimson Needle, this is the next best thing! Banana Pudding is the best needle game I have played in a while! There are so many memorable saves and the game is huge.
Editing this review, after ALMOST beating this game and after bananaguy commented in this. I'm almost done with stage 6 atm and while it's true, that there are quite a few repetitive jumps in this game, there is just enough variety to make me coming back to this for an hour per day. For a first fangame this is way above average and imo OP is selling himself short.
Oh well, I am pretty interested in seeing his next game.
