For: Crimson Needle 2

Crimson Needle 2 is one of few needle games that provides a strong start coupled with a slow yet steady rate of increasing difficulty. The tileset/music changes roughly every 3 stages, which keeps the atmosphere of the game great.

Many of the rooms couple "standard" jumps alongside original jumps, keeps each screen of CN2 feeling fresh and unique. I have not completed this game, rather, I will edit my rating/difficulty as I progress through the game. I have enjoyed it up to where I am now, and I see it as a great successor to the first Crimson Needle.

Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys needle games, or those looking for a challenge!

I'm only at 23rd floor but from what I've seen on streams so far the game seems better than the first one for me. The production value is one of the best I've seen for a needle game, and there are 4 different skins for the kid which is a nice touch. It's more difficult than the first one, but it also seems much more fair (so far) with reasonable save placement. I hope it stays like this through the entire game. Would definitely recommend if you're a needle fan.

For what it is, this game is fantastic. I'll remove this review and add another when I complete the game.
The visuals/production is ten times better in this than the original Crimson Needle.
The gameplay also feels better, with less shit jumps at the beginning of saves being the most notable thing I noticed.
The music is overall better too, other than the dishwasher song.
would recommend, definitely.

neat sequel to a great game, though its pretty much the same game but different and with more production value
not neccesarily a bad thing as i love both games (though i will probably never beat them Kappa)
