Fun fangame, with a kinda interesting gimmick of "movement of view".

Difficulty rating is for Very Hard mode
Standard easy needle in the lowest difficulty, but on harder difficulties (except impossible) more spikes are placed, and the jumps are a bit more inventive.

Two stages of pretty well made needle and a boss. ゆきぃ's stage was overall really well made; the graphics, while kinda being bland, were also really interesting: the spikes erased the visible background and revealed a moving background, which was a really neat effect. There was also a cool little effect when you got infinite jump or water physics.
akinopio's stage, while having more generic visuals, had some more interesting jumps and was overall much harder.
The boss was kinda bleh and a little too easy compared to the rest of the game, but it wasn't bad enough to turn me off.

This game could be brilliant. It has great and interesting level design with actually clever traps, (even though they are mostly moving spikes) nice music and of course the infamous final boss. Unfortunately, there are small things here and there that makes the game much worse than it should've been.
-The bat boss is one of the worst bosses I've ever fought against in any fangame ever.
-If you play this game blind then you're basically screwed. You must collect all the secrets to get to the final area, and the game doesn't say anything about this. Most people would think that the secrets are optional like in any other game they've played, right? I had to do all 8 worlds again to get all the secrets, how was I supposed to know that?
-Some of the secrets are hidden too well, it's stupidly hard to find out where these things are without a guide.
-Some of the worlds are way too short and easy compared to others.
-Getting to the secret of pink key is absolutely garbage tier cheap difficulty.
-The amount of traps per save is mesmerizing. It just has waaaay too many traps. It started to get on my nerves after a while and I eventually rage quit. Very annoying.
- and Finally, Low production value. (I don't mind this that much but I would appreciate different tilesets and more than one color backgrounds.)
If these small things were fixed this could've easily been one of my favourite fangames but unfortunately I can't see myself playing it ever again.

For: Not Another Needle Game
It requires extraordinary talent to make a 200 floor game, and make each of the floors feel fun, original and challenging at the same time. Absolutely brilliant. I'm replaying it right now to get all the secrets, and it feels just as fun as my first playthrough.

3 minute avoidance, with a few attacks, everything is pattern, no RNG.
Main platforming is kinda boring and looks cheap, however the avoidance is another story.
Overall, good game, would recommend if you think you are good enough at avoidance. Gets a few extra points for nostalgia value.
