Does this game even really need a review? No, but I'm going to give it one anyway.

You do a semi-easy jump to get up a vine jump corridor, jump up 10 screens of vines, and you win. I guess. The only purpose this game serves is being a classic, adding one to a clear list, and for speedruns.

Honestly, I don't really like this game.
First, the "engine" is crap. The jumping and even movement are WAY different than normal physics. This makes the game harder for a stupid reason.
Second, the platforming is stupid. All of the levels seem to have a stupid effect on them. The VVVVVV level is stupid, especially because of the Veni Vidi Vici inspired screen is WAAAAYY too long. Before the bosses, you have to do some stupid jump, or in the case of Ryu, a stupid blank screen that you can't save in.

However, the game does have some good aspects to it. The music is very good, and having it restart is an optional feature, as well as a lot of other things, such as the amount of blood, and even the speed. The bosses themselves are pretty good, and are quite fun to learn.

Overall, this game I feel have been overhyped, but it is really not that good.

This game is good, but a little bit too easy. The music was also pretty decent.

For: I wanna be the Blue coin mania saucer fulfill

Get the blue coins in the room, and you beat the screen. The screens are all taken from other games, making it a medley game.
This is a good idea, but could be done a little bit better.
The music makes the game better.

This is probably the best of the three Biginners, as I kind of enjoyed the Microsoft tileset.
Again, the purpose of this game is to add one to the clear list.
